SOLVED - AsciiDoc

Post by phayz »

I respectfully ask that AsciiDoc be packaged for SalixOS. Here's a description from its home page at http://www.methods.co.nz/asciidoc/:

"AsciiDoc is a text document format for writing notes, documentation, articles, books, ebooks, slideshows, web pages, man pages and blogs. AsciiDoc files can be translated to many formats including HTML, PDF, EPUB, man page. AsciiDoc is highly configurable: both the AsciiDoc source file syntax and the backend output markups (which can be almost any type of SGML/XML markup) can be customized and extended by the user."

It's used by the git project and others as their documentation format.

Sorry for the late reply but thankyou. I (obviously) didn't realise AsciiDoc was in that package. I can now happily install it and create documentation from an AsciiDoc source under Salix.
