Perhaps Debian has made me lazy after all of these years. I removed a handful of packages from the full Fluxbox install but the menu was not auto updating. If it is indeed Debian that made me lazy, cool....if not, I would like to learn what I am missing here. Checked the wiki out and searched around here but didn't really find anything.
Like I said, I'm cool with manually editing the menu, just curious if it auto-updated in any way.
Fluxbox menu
Re: Fluxbox menu
If you want the menu to auto-update you can try my flux-menu found here http://www.ingk.se/cms/index.php?page=salix-os-fluxbox its made for Salix OS

Re: Fluxbox menu
Thanks for the link! The tool is perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. My issue was the fact Debian puts in the "Debian" menu in Fluxbox I believe that is a pipe menu of sorts that updates from their freedesktop.org menu behind the scenes. Probably should have figured that out before I posted, but then I wouldn't have your awesome utility.ibka wrote:If you want the menu to auto-update you can try my flux-menu found here http://www.ingk.se/cms/index.php?page=salix-os-fluxbox its made for Salix OS
Thanks again!
