Clementine uses 15% CPU time when doing nothing

I noticed my system was unusually slow when Clementine was running, so I looked at htop... Lo and behold, Clementine was using CPU power even when not playing music. Turning off Clementine of course fixed the CPU usage.

Can anyone confirm this?

I run salix kde 13.37 32 bit edition. I also have salix kde 13.37 64 bit edition in another laptop.
The following results are for the 32 bit edition and i think same results will be for 64 bit edition.

I run clementine. Clementine icon appears at system tray down right corner at kde panel.
Htop gives the following results.

1) cpu usage without to check music library to be updated when clementine runs and not check for changes of music library at clementine preferences
a) clementine runs maximized without to do anything cpu usage 5%
b) clementine runs minimized (clic on icon at kde panel) cpu usage 0%

2) cpu usage having checked, music library to be updated when clementine runs and also check for changes of music library at clementine preferences
a) clementine runs maximized without to play a song. But we can see that depending of the amount of songs of music library clementine search for songs updating music library so cpu usage can be 13%, 17% or more. After that which can take a lot of time cpu usage is 5% on my system.
b) clik on icon and clementine mimimized then cpu usage is 0% on my system

I also did not notice my system to be slow.

Never had problems with Clementine. Did it update your library while the CPU usage was high?

Nope, it was definitely doing nothing.

Maybe it's another Intel graphics/Qt problem?

I also had this issue with Clementine, then I tried aTunes and it used alot of CPU%. I think QT was the culprit with Clementine and java with aTunes. I'm back to using Exaile now. Python doesn't seem to use that much CPU%

Qt doesn't use your CPU. Either it's a Clementine bug or some other problem.
