Calendar Software for Fluxbox

Post by kinslayer »

Just curious what the other fluxbox users out there use for a calendar, or if they/you use anything at all?

Just to be clear, this is just a curiosity based question, not looking for any support, just learning how the slackers thing. It has been a bit of a learning curve for me going from Debian to Salix, but I can't see myself turning back now...learning more than I ever did with Debian.

Was always an XFCE or Openbox user, but I have really been liking Fluxbox so I am trying to learn what I can as quickly as I can.

wmCalClock is Window Maker date and time dockable application

wmCalClock is a simple calendar clock that uses anti-aliased
characters and drop shadows. Doesn't do much except tell the time...

I guess you can use Agender if you want something with more features.

For what it's worth I'm using when (that's the name of the app) for reminding me of stuff like anniversaries and just cal for just looking at the calendar.

Fluxbox-13.37

I use kal which is a bit more sophisticated than cal to look at calender, month or year.
Command "at" for reminders. Never was I able to figure out those various schedulers. ;)

Absolute Linux uses Osmo on Icewm. It should work with Fluxbox as well.
