[solved] System doesn't come up after installation

Hello and good day all of you.
I installed salix 13.37 xfce and kde full and basic on my H.P laptop, but i have the same problem :
screen goes completely blank after the lilo boot screen and after line of messages

triggering udev events : /sbin/udevadm trigger--action=add

and doesn't continue. I waited 15m and nothing.

When i install Salix 13.1.2 it works.

I tried going into the system with "linux 3 nomodeset " and i can enter root, changed lilo.conf and it's the same.
My H.P has ATI and not intel video cards saw that in another topic.

Am i doing something wrong ?

Try linux noudev at the lilo prompt.

Just this Morning i had time to sit down, thank you for the fast reply.
I did everything and it works now so it solved.
It was the same P with the Intel card but now it worked. Must have done something wrong.
