So my problem is this, i have a lot of fonts in different directories (well these came up with subtitles).
So my questions are this:
How can these fonts copy into the /usr/share/fonts/ttf directory?
How can I get and install windows fonts?

Re: Fonts copying
Did you search the forum?
Perhaps the thread below will help, if you have a careful look at it. But maybe you already did?
http://www.salixos.org/forum/viewtopic. ... nts#p17730
If you still have trouble, please post a specific query explaining what you have tried (indeed, what exactly you want to do) and how far you got.
You may also find it useful to work through the intro to using the command line in the user guide. I'm not sure whether this is in the Guide for 13.1 as well, or only 13.37 (which is still 'draft'). In any case, you will find the latest version there.

Re: Fonts copying
What do you mean by "windows fonts"?
Microsoft Windows AFAIK only uses TTF (truetype fonts) and you can find TTFs all over the internet. If you want to use the fonts that come with Microsoft Windows you probably need a Windows license and copy the fonts from an existing installation.
There is also something called "Microsoft web core fonts", that are available for free. For more infos about this, take a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_fonts_for_the_Web

Re: Fonts copying
isn't a command (to the computer), it's an instruction (to you).copy all .ttf files in /usr/share/fonts/TTF
If you have a look at that chapter in the Guide, you will find information about how to follow it (which may solve your problem, if not have another look at the posts in the thread I mentioned above), and other similar stuff you need to know.
You didn't answer my question:
When somebody gives their time to help you on a forum, it's an interactive process that depends on curiosity on both sides. It's no good just saying "Well that didn't work, show me another trick."please post a specific query explaining what you have tried (indeed, what exactly you want to do) and how far you got
EDIT
There is also some useful information here on how to do operations on files such as copying:
