salix fluxbox 13.37 install issue

Hi again all,

When I installed Salix Fluxbox 13.37 from a Salix live CD
it ended up going to a black screen with a prompt; looking
like a terminal screen with the single word ... grub: ...

When I typed in the word boot, it replied back,
"system can not be loaded until kernel is installed" .

The message from the install.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I believe Salix 13.37 xfce is still only available as RC, and Fluxbox not at all. Do you mean Salix 13.1 Fluxbox live?

Assuming that is the case ... did you install the LILO bootloader at the end of the installation process? or did you not get that far? Did you use the Live installer tool?

One option could be to boot the live CD again, and run Lilosetup, just to be sure. If that doesn't work, please post more details about exactly what you did when installing.
