[solved] Nvidia 295.20 Driver

Has anyone tried using the latest nvidia linux driver (295.20 http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html ) with an up-to-date Salix 13.37 (32 <and> 64 bit) install?

I ask this because while I have no problem with using 290.1 Linux driver with Salix 13.37-64bit, but cannot get it to work with the -32 bit version (using http://www.salixos.org/wiki/index.php/H ... DIA_driver ) .

And yes I have used the correct 32/64 bit .run shell script with the correct 32/64 bit Salix

You have a problem with 290.1. What exactly? Why don't you try 295.20 yourself then?

Sorry it took so long to answer this...don't know how I missed your reply.

It's been a while, so this is from old/faulty memory. The error I was getting with the 32 bit 290 driver was along the lines of 'this was compiled on a different version' of <something>.

I can report now that the 64 bit 295 driver works fine, however
