I have been trying to burn a Salix KDE International Live 13.37 CD with K3b. I have blanked two CDs on my Salix64 KDE 13.37 system, and while the Salix64 KDE 13.37 system, as well as a newly installed Salix KDE 13.37 laptop system, detect the CDs, K3b does not when I try to burn the .iso file to the CDs. Both CDs were erased on my Salix64 KDE 13.37 system. If I try to erase them again, I get the following: "Found medium: Empty CD-RW medium Please insert a rewritable CD medium into drive:" (gui) Very strange.

If you want a rescue disk, any edition will do. I also strongly recommend making a live USB, and then space isn't an issue. It's also more robust and you can set up persistent storage, allowing you to tailor the environment to your taste as well as transport data. Boots faster too.
