Help: How to install Salix on GPT Partioned disk?
Hi, I have a converted GPT partition table, this being done so that I could utilize my UEFI feature on my computer. Now, it's not just with Salix but any Slackware based system doesn't realize how to install on a GPT disk for whatever reason and I don't know why. But it seems Salix is the first to natively support Grub2 as is needed. Now I am trying to install the newest XFCE Live disc to my hard drive, but again on the installer I run into a problem. The checkmarks are all done but the partition checkmark will not let me proceed. Keep in mind I am an excellent partitioner and know what I am doing, and have successfully installed Debian, SUSE, Mint and Gentoo based systems and used the efi boot fine. So can someone tell me what to do then to install Salix to my hard drive please? Or is there a way? Note: I do not want an msdos partition at all, so it's not a mistake of that. And also, it seems the Gdisk isn't even supported in slackware which is a requirement of gpt partitions, that or using parted but I can't proceed here on Salix based on this installer, as you cannot specify which partitions are boot or root in Gparted either. Can anyone assist? Thanks.

That is for the standard installation CD. It won't work at all from the live CD.
