Re: Kernel panic at boot from CD to install GRUB.
The system finally booted and I got prompted to run fsck manually. There were both errors with the super block (?) having a creation date in the future, as well as some nodes that weren't set with the correct value, and something with some of the modules. The default repairs seemed sane, so I just went with the defaults. The system appears to be working fine now. Should I delete the old versions of grub.cfg and the bits in the "lost+found" folder?

That's up to you. But as far as I'm concerned it's probably not needed anymore, but it's your data.globetrotterdk wrote:Should I delete the old versions of grub.cfg and the bits in the "lost+found" folder?
