I have a very weird problem. I recently purchased an Asus pa246q 24,1" monitor that I am using with Salix64 KDE 13.37. The monitor is great,
the colors are great - except for YouTube videos. The thumbnail versions are fine, but when I play the videos, everyone looks like
members of the Blue Man Group or the cast from the movie Avatar. I have tried on numerous occasions with both Firefox and Google Chrome and get
the same result. All other sites, such as Vimeo, that I have come across so far reproduce the correct colors. Even stranger is that I
can view YouTube videos with the color reproduced correctly, if I start up Virtualbox and run Firefox under Windows 7. This suggests to me that
it is either a problem with the Linux version of the Flash plug-in or with Salix. Can this be confirmed?

I believe there is no flash for 64 bits. There may be a workaround somewhere in this thread:

There is definitely flash for 64bits.
Your problem should be solved if you disable hardware acceleration in flash (it's useless anyway).

Wow. Thanks for the quick replies. Disabling hardware acceleration seems to work. Thanks
