lock screen problem

Post by maspai »

locking screen with keyboard shortcut (mine is ctrl+alt+L) or apps menu works. but hovering menu or pressing keyboard doesn't show login dialog box. the strange is, pointer mouse can only moved in a certain square area in center of screen - just like area of a dialog box, so i think there's dialog box but displayed incorrectly. i'm not sure however.
any help appreciated. thanks.
sorry for my noob-ness guys, i'm new in linux and salix.

This maybe a compatibility problem with the screensaver screen you are using and your display / video card. Try using the no screen saver option.

I think your right. The cursors defaults to the password box, so jut try blindly typing in your password.
