Post by trickyhero »

Flash worked out of the box with firefox in 13.37 with firefox. When I got midori it didn't work. I went back and installed the other plugin in the Gsplat application. What schould I do?

Try installing seamonkey-solibs to get midori to work with flash.

I have midori-0.4.5 (installed with Sourcery) and seamonkey-solibs-2.11 installed.

Which isn't updated enough in slapt-get but enough in sourcery.

Yes, vala is required for the midori build. You said that you "went back and installed the other plugin". You should re-install the adobe flash-plugin.

It works! Thanks, this is awesome. in case anyone wants to know steps:
1. Vala 17 from Sourcery
2. Midori .4.5 from sourcery
3. seamonkey-solibs-2.11 (I got it from splat-get, idk if sourcery has it too.)

Thanks!

It turns out it isn't fully working. I happened to only have Pandora.com running before. I tried YouTube.com and the video didn't work, but the audio did. Good thing it has HTML5. I still wonder what's wrong.

Have you run the Salix-codecs-installer?
