You should look for them in a slackware repository, as gslapt also downloads them from there, they are not included in salix repositories. For example, there is this one:
ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/linux/slackware/s ... i486-1.txz
and these:
ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/linux/slackware/s ... alternate/

The one you have is a list of source packages. You can't install them on your system, at least not directly. You'll need to compile each one of them first. The ones I'm giving you are binary packages from a slackware repository and you can install them directly on your system using installpkg/upgradepkg/removepkg.

I think I'm all good. Posting this from my new Salix 64bit install which I'll now test drive for a while! So far it's very comfortable -- have been using ZW since somewhere around 5.0 - 5.4 versions so this layout as well as xfce in general are very comfortable.

For the OP, my solution ended up being xf86-video-intel-2.7.1-x86_64-2.

Versions 2.8.0 and the default (newest) 2.8.1 were no good for me.

I'll perhaps post in some other general forum about my other overall impressions of Salix OS after I've used it for a while if that would be helpful.

Sincere thanks, gapan. Your suggestions worked perfectly. I also didn't end up needing the repo you posted. I got my wireless card up from the command line and was able to just use slapt-get to find the 64bit intel video driver -- even better!
