i use mc to edit system files like locale-gen or fstab, add and delete folders to /usr/share/icons and /applications/ therefore i need the mc with the su rights.

A more comfortable way to edit system configuration files (textfiles) would be something like "EditAsRoot" for Thunar's useractions, with a command like:
