14RC1 k3b problem [solved]

I`ve just tried to use k3b but it says:

Code: Select all

No optical drive found.
K3b did not find any optical device in your system.
Make sure HAL daemon is running, it is used by K3b for finding devices.

xfburn can detect my optical drive

what is the package name? k3b-2.0.2-i486-1dj.txz.
Put a empty cd/dvd in your cd/dvd drive and the message will disappear.
I get the message No optical drive found when no cd/dvd is in the drive.
But nothing about hal. Hal is not a dependency and it is not exist on 14.0.
k3b works fine here.

The package name is as yours but k3b keeps complaining about HAL.

EDIT: 14RC2 solves the problem
