Problems with connections

Hi,
Ive just installed Salix-Fluxbox and Im having big troubles with the internet connection.
There are lot of disconnections and when the connection is up its really slow.
I use a key-pen connected to the pc which interfaces a wi-fi router.
this is the result of lsusb

The drivers (rt2800lib and rt2800usb) are loaded so it seems everything is correct but the connection is really unstable.
I have other slackware distros which use wicd and they are reall stable, there are never disconnections.

Check if your IP is also assigned to another device in the same network.

Most of the time Im the only user.
Anyway, how can I check it?

Maybe your router has a page that lists all connected devices. Then again, even if it does, if you are able to connect, it will show your PC anyway. Only way to know is check every single device separately I guess.
