New avatar depicts our half-Siamese cat, Ted for short, in his native habitat. Juniper trees are called Utah Cedar there, likely due to the scent of the wood. Loved the blue flame as it burned in our stove, though I developed an allergy after chopping a lot of it over the years.

Thanks, guys. We named him Theodore after the one in Alvin and The Chipmunks, due to prominent cheek pouches. Those decreased noticeably after he was "tutored" by the veterinarian.

Though living outdoors when he found us, Ted is now quite domesticated. In fact after coming in from outside adventures, he now often runs directly to the cat box -- after getting a treat, of course.
