[Solved] Mixxx 1.8.2. closing when trying to play any song

Hello All,
I am currently running Salix 13.37 on my desktop pc (AMD AthlonXP, 1GB ram, SIS ac97 audio controller). I have installed Mixx via slapt-get and eveything seemed to work. However whenever i try to load a song the application crashes. Audio card seems to be detected correctly when starting the software but as soon as one song is uploaded in the player I got this message:

mixxx: nv10_render.c:104: get_hw_format: asserzione "0" non riuscita.
Annullato

and the application closes.
Same application is running in Salix 13.0 with no trouble.
