Post by Aleph »

Hi friends,

I can't listen the mp3 on this web: http://www.breakingnewsenglish.com/1308 ... abies.html,
Firefox said "Instal the plugin" and Midori doesn't woks with this link.

This happens I my two installations, LXDE 13.37 64 bits and XFCE 14.01 32 bits

How to solve it?

Thanks.

Hmm it works here (clicking on mp3 British English). Have you installed multimedia codecs? Is the icedtea-web package installed? Not that the latter should be needed for this.

Hi mimosa,

thanks for your answer.

The restricted multimedia codecs are installed. Should I install more codecs?

I can see Youtube and others webs using Flash without troubles.

Wich is the icedtea-web package? Java? The Java plugin is also installed in Firefox...

More ideas?

Confirmed, the icedtea and multimedia plugins are installed.

I can download the file but not listen online.

Here is a screenshot of Firefox. Midori do a loop trying to start but nothing happens, only the cpu got crazy:

Works with Midori here, but I get the missing plugin message when I use Firefox. :?
