How to install pulseaudio? I used Sourcery SlackBuild without success. Any help appreciated.

I had never set mentioned user up. I think this is nonsense.

What part of "Pulseaudio will need a pulse group/user to run" don't you understand? If you really think it's nonsense, why the hell do you bother with creating a thread here and asking? You're ignoring anyone with a solution to your problem anyway. Which is only a problem because you think you know better and you refuse to follow simple instructions of course. How stupid is that?

There are several similar cases where this needs to be done manually, such as privoxy and virtualbox. The app needs the special user/group to access its functionality.

In general, it's always a good idea to look at the README for slackbuilds. This can be accessed at the site itself:
