It's not a dumb question (and I'm afraid I don't know the answer) however, have you looked in the user guide, the forum, the wiki, and searched the web (I bet the procedure has similarities on other distros)?
Also (without wishing to be tiresome
) this is a separate problem so you should really create a new thread. This makes it easier for others in future to learn from your problem and its solution, because it's easier to search. Also, anyone who sees your post now will know what it's about (not mirror update any more).
The idea is (in various aspects) to avoid reinventing the wheel.
