sudo slapt-get -i udisks worked for me.

This has been my first experience with Salix forums, and I couldn't be more pleased and impressed.

Thank you.
On slackware when there is any problem with an application just open a terminal and run the application in there. Slackware will tell you what is wrong.
So you can install what is missing or find the problem.
