Add Printer Error

Hello & Happy New Year,

Reinstalled salix yesterday and the CUPS site won't let me log in Forbidden. Is there a work around, I reinstalled 14.0 because of dvd burner error.

Cups in Salix 14.0 requires root access so you need to log into cups as "root" and use the root password. In 14.1 cups requires a user with sudo privalages. In this case you used the users password.

Managed to log in as root, but none of the drivers would work, i proceeded to open printing.org and found my Brother HL-2040 driver. hl1250 Ghostscript driver.
It is a PCl-5e driver ?? printer finally responded. Now if I could get Parole to work I'd be happy again.
