Trying to install Seafile need "libselinux.so.1"

Post by walterbyrd »

Just installed Salix64 14.1.

I am trying to install an application called seafile. It is supposed to work like dropbox.

Seafile has a generic user installation script. But it did not work for me, I got this message:

Code: Select all

/home/walter/Downloads/seafile-server-4.0.4/seafile/bin/ccnet-init: error while loading shared libraries: libselinux.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any advice appreciated.

If all you get is a binary and that binary depends on selinux, it won't work. That is not part of Slackware and so it's not part of Salix either.

If there are sources available and you can compile it without selinux, then it will probably work.
