In my system (salix mate 13.37 64 bit), when launching flash-plugin Firefox warns "This socket is vulnerable please update it" (more or less; the words are not the same, but the sense is). But if I do slapt-get -u and slapt-get --upgrade, flash-plugin is not upgraded.
On the other hand, in my wife's system (salix mate 14.1 32 bit) the new flash-plugin has been upgraded smoothly. For this reason, I suspect that slackware (and salix) 13.37 is not supported by now. Is my presumption right?

No, 13.37 is supported just fine. The latest flash plugin package is currently in the 13.37 repos (as with 13.0, 13.1, 14.0 and 14.1). What mirror are you using? Maybe you should try to slapt-get -u again.

Re: Is salix 13.37 still supported?
There was a problem with the 13.37 repositories. I just fixed it. If you --update and --upgrade, you should get the new package with no problems now. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Re: Is salix 13.37 still supported?
Now all is right. Thank you very much.
BTW, how many years will be supported slackware (and salix) 13.37?

Since 13.37 came out in 2011, I'd say you're probably good for another year or two, at least.
