Libreoffice (SOLVED)

Post by bobo »

A week ago i got Libreoffice installed, today i installed "libreoffice-l10n-es-4.2.5-x86_64-1dj" updated the db: nothing, everything in English.

I rebooted, no change. Am i missing a step? thank you.

bobo[~]$ locale
LANG=en_US.utf8
LC_CTYPE="en_US.utf8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.utf8"
LC_TIME="en_US.utf8"
LC_COLLATE=C
LC_MONETARY="en_US.utf8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_US.utf8"
LC_PAPER="en_US.utf8"
LC_NAME="en_US.utf8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_US.utf8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.utf8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.utf8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.utf8"
LC_ALL=

My second choice was es_ES, or was it in another distro? I can't remember if Salix offers a second choice; i usually choose these two.

You have everything set to english. What did you expect? If you want spanish, you need to choose a spanish locale.
