spacefm - no plugins because of a rights problem

Post by jsfarinet »

I'm playing around with spacefm (fine so far) but i cannot load any plugin. When i do so i'm prompted by the following error msg:

Code: Select all

sudo: Unknown group: -D
sudo: Could not initialize plugin rules

(The msg is translated, so it might not match exactly what an english speaking system would say. But the sense is that!

I guess, there is a user:groups (rights) problem underlying, but which?

TIA

You are getting that becasue Salix does not have the root user enabled. Go to the advance tab in spacefm preferences and change both the SU Terminal and Graphical SU to /usr/bin/sudo.
