Exaile exits when changing preferences

Hi folks I thought I'd mention that Exaile exits whenever I clicked either Apply or OK after changing the preferences. When I opened Exaile again, the preferences had not changed. This was its behavior after I reinstalled Salix. So I uninstalled Exaile and used decibel.

I also remembered on my previous installation of Salix, Exaile's preferences can be changed when I clicked Apply or Ok. However, the preferences dialog would not close after clicking Ok. I had to click the "x" button on the Window itself to get out of the preferences dialog and back to the play window. But in this case, the changed preferences were accepted.

Nothing has changed in my computer:
same laptop: Acer 4736z
Salix 13.0.2a, 32-bit Full Installation
Updates only through gslapt

I just thought I'd report it this weird Exaile behavior.

Try to delete exaile settings directories:
cd
rm -r .config/exaile/
rm -r .local/share/exaile/

once again, I'm glad to report that this tip worked! (where do you learn these things?,hehe
I removed these files using the gui (thunar) before reinstalling exaile.
