How to avoid Gslapt downgrade my Sbopkg packages without blacklisting them

Post by Pai Mei »

Hi Salix users!

I installed using Sbopkg the following packages: mednafen 1.32.1-x86_64-1_SBo and mednaffe 0.9.2-x86_64-1_SBo.

When Gslapt check my packages, it suggests to install mednafen 1.29.0-x86_64-2salix15.0 and mednaffe 0.9.1-x86_64-2salix15.0.

How I tell Gslapt to not downgrade my Sbo packages without blacklisting them, since they are superior versions?

Thanks in advance!

PS: Sorry for my english. I'm not a native speaker.

https://docs.salixos.org/faq/package-ma ... -packages/

The only thing that I can add is that you could create a local repository and add that with an increased priority in your /etc/slapt-get/slapt-get.rc. Read more on your /usr/doc/slapt-get-0.11.6/FAQ file.

Oh, and that there seems to be an even newer version available in flathub.

Or politely ask gapan to upgrade these packages in the repository salix-15.0 :D
