Re: headphone switch not working
I had similar problems with my intel soundcard.
The fix was to add this:
to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf (if not there, create it).
Code: Select all
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
Code: Select all
options snd-hda-intel model=auto
Re: headphone switch not working
On my Sony Vaio W11 I added the line
to fix the problem with the headphone switch.
flux.
Code: Select all
options snd-hda-intel model=vaio position_fix=0
flux.
Re: headphone switch not working
thanks gapan and flux for the feedback. but none of the options worked
but following options did the trick on this machine (vaio VGN-NS31)
lost the 'switch' tab in alsamixer - but actual switch does work when plugging the headphone in or out.
