There is no such thing as a shortcut in the windows sense. The closest thing there is, are desktop app launchers. Have you tried right clicking on the desktop?

Of course, but i don`t know how it use for launch file manager to open an exact folder or launch a program.

Apart there are symlinks on unix systems, which are imo much cooler than those simple shortcuts of M$. :mrgreen: :geek:
