The bug seems to be there in version 13.1 LXDE as well.
To get synchronize running i had to:
run clocksetup
run gtkclocksetup
and reinstall ntp (from gslapt)
Now it's running....

That is certainly not the same bug. In any case, it would be best if you didn't reply to a thread marked as solved, people don't usually look in these threads.
