[SOLVED] Audio problem with Intel sound card
So, i have Intel Corporation 82810I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev03) and have no sound.Any ideas what might be the problem?
Re: Audio problem with Intel sound card
Any sound or headphone sound? I have an intel ICH7 (rev 02) that won't output to the headphone jack unless I put this:
in a /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base file. I also have this:
in /etc/modprobe.d/sound. Don't really remember which of the two fixed it, it might have been both...
Code: Select all
options snd-hda-intel model=auto
Code: Select all
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
alias sound-slot-0 snd-hda-intel

Re: Audio problem with Intel sound card
hey again! I have no sound at all.. i added "options snd-hda-intel model=auto" to the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base file, witch by the way, wasn't there at all.now i can hear a little snap from speakers during startup, but that's all..i must try the model=fujitsu option,if that would help..
little update to the situation.. options "model=fujitsu","model=amilo" and "model=fujitsusiemens" work that much, that now headphone jack works loud and clear.but still, laptops own speakers stay silent..
