Just wondering if anyone else is having to downgrade to the older flash plugin to get video AND audio to work with flash on the 64 bit systems with 13.1

No. Audio and video in gnash work just fine. Gnash just doesn't work in every website.

That's my experience as well.

For YouTube you do need to make sure your browser is not permitting the website to set cookies. Otherwise you will need to clear your cookies between videos. If you do that then gnash works very well indeed. For other websites it's hit or miss. 50% or so work with gnash; the rest do not.

The older version of Adobe Flash has a gaping security hole. gnash, OTOH, is very resource hungry, as in much worse than native Flash. In either case I recommend using Flashblock if your browser of choice is Firefox and enabling Flash as you need it on a case-by-case basis.

That's what I do And I still have the old flash package with security issues.

The AdBlock Plus addon will also block flash content (and other stuff as well) in Firefox.

I did that too on Windows and even today.

stop using extensions or use as less as possible

we can tag scripts that are working with midori one by one or we can wait for the midori project to support all of the greasemonkey api (and then I'll use Firefox less)
