UMTS/wvdial problems

Hello!
I've been trying to connect to the internet using wvdial through a 3g Huawei usb/modem. I'm using a laptop. I can get an ip and DNS from the network but can't connect to the internet. I have the DNS on resolv.conf can ping the ip given by the network but can't ping the DNS. I have default route through ppp0. Can you help me!?

I was induced in thinking that my usb modem worked but checking the site I found it wasn't.
