mcabber and libloudmouth

Post by zAchAry »

MCabber: http://www.lilotux.net/~mikael/mcabber/

the package mcabber depends on the library "libloudmouth" (package: loudmouth)

Code: Select all

etf[~]$ mcabber
mcabber: error while loading shared libraries: libloudmouth-1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
etf[~]$
I needed to install the Loud Mouth Library which is labeled as loudmouth (not libloudmouth) and MCabber worked.

Someone added to the mcabber dependencies list libloudmouth instead of loudmouth, which is the requested library.

Code: Select all

PACKAGE NAME: loudmouth-1.4.3-i486-1.txz
