I believe I did run the multimedia codec installer, and I replaced the cmos battery from another older pc as the bios kept reporting the wrong date and the wrong cpu speed.mimosa wrote:Did you run the codecs installer (in Multimedia)? Regarding the partitions and their sizes, the default should be fine.
As for the rest, hardware trouble unfortunately remains a possibility.
I did run an upgrade from the slaptget module and it was like 180 mb of updates.
I would like to install the ati radeon driver, but the biggest issue at the moment is that the pc will freeze or reboot when I try and do almost
any action making it impossible to get anything done.
