Missing dependecy - dvdauthor upgrade (SalixOS 13.1 32-bit)

Post by caitlyn »

My last set of upgrades to SalixOS 13.1 on my netbook excluded dvdauthor due to a missing dependency. IT seems the package requires a version of GraphicsMagick not included in the repository.

I guess I had an old package lying around on my system: GraphicsMagick-1.3.7-i486-1fb. Although I was wondering why the dep file for i486 was different, I didn't assume a problem as it wouldn't have been the first time. Sorry for it.
I guess it's time to run a search for packages not in the repo again.

BTW if you need something for me or if there's a problem with some work of mine, I recon it's best to contact me by mail or by PM, which notifies me per mail too. I can response much quicker that way and unless I've got view time or it's a lot of work, I usually should be able to fit it in.

You can find the packager by:
1. take a look at /usr/src/pkgname/SLKBUILD
2. slapt-get --show pkgname look for the packager suffix and take a look at our team page.

PS: But thanks to the SLKBUILD every team member can update the packages.
