Spell check in OpenOffice

Post by toothandnail »

I've recently reinstalled Salix64 on my T61. I went to produce a report earlier, and find the spell checker in OpenOffice is not working. I have the en_GB locale pack installed, and UK is set as the default in all the Options >Language Settings > Languages. However, if I look in Options > Language > Writing Aids, there is nothing listed in Available language modules and the Edit option is greyed out.

:( I'm sure I had this working before, but so far, I've not worked out what I've done wrong. Anyone give me a hint.?

You'll have to download a dictionary separately. These are not distributed with langpacks anymore.
