Post by gatewayasteroid »

I can't install Firefox add-ons/themes on a new install, I also tried deleting the profile directory without success. Here a screenshot.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Thank you

SOLVED....it all happened because I was using google's DNSs 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 ..... incredible. Hope this could help anyone out there.

Try:
1. Right-click on "Add to Firefox".
2. Save Link As.
3. File > Open File...
3.1. Select the .xpi file that you've just downloaded.
3.2. Drag-n-drop the .xpi file to Firefox.

Is it for this one particular add-on or for any add-on?

Code: Select all

The download cannot be saved because an unknown error occurred.

Please try again.
That's why I'm puzzled...I don't have network issues as far as I know...
