Salix 13.1.2 and transset-df

Post by loukingjr »

I couldn't find transset-df in the repositories so I did a search online for it. I found a Slackbuild file for Slackware 13.1 but I don't know how to use it to install transset-df.

any help would be appreciated.

I was also wondering why just plain Thunar is not listed in the repositories. Is thunar-volman the same thing?

thanks
running SalixOS 13.1.2 LXDE btw.

The slackbuild is on slackbuild.org, so you can install it via slapt-src (man salix, man slapt-src for info)

Nope, thunar is part of the slackware xfce package. (see /var/log/packages/xfce-...)

thanks. I installed just xfce just to get thunar :P . and I guess there is no way to get around learning how to use slackbuilds.
