LILO to Root Partition

I use salix with W7 as dual boot. I have installed LILO to mbr and added W7 to Lilo succesfully. No problem so far.

Is it possible to install LILO to the root partion of salix, I intend to remove LILO from MBR and would make dual boot by EASYBCD from W7 ?

Yes, it is possible. You'll need to point another bootloader to it, but you can do it. Run liloconfig and you'll find the option in there.
