Thunar or PCmanFm viewing networks

I have no problems regarding Network file sharing with my Debian or BSD or Arch installs.
When using Slackware 13.1 I have had to adopt the use of Gigolo to view both Partitions and Networks.
Thunar will not see either
PCmanFM will see and mount partitions but not Other shared Network machines.
By Comparison
...Booting this same machine to another Linux OS i.e.
Squeeze Debian Thunar can see partiions but not Networks files./ PCmanFM handles Both types
Wheezy Debian Thunar and PCmanFM can work with both Partitions and Network files..
BSD and ARCH same as Wheezy.
Slackware using Dolphin will work with both the Partitions and the Network files.

Any suggestions regarding having Slackware 13.1 with Xfce4 using Thunar and PCmanFM connecting with both Partitions and Network files w/o using Gigolo?
