[SOLVED] Xboard / Gnuchess not functioning properly

Running:
SalixOS 13.1.2 XFCE

Hey guys,

downloaded gnuchess from repo. Opened Xboard to play gnuchess and got error message:

Code: Select all

xboard: Failed to start first chess program fairymax on localhost: fairymax: No such file or directory.

xboard: Error writing to first chess program: broken pipe  
xboard: Error writing to first chess program: broken pipe
xboard: Error writing to first chess program: broken pipe
xboard: Error writing to first chess program: broken pipe

The board actually does open, but isn't functional; these error messages pop up and when they are closed the board closes as well. Any idea how to fix?

EDIT: Duh. I just downloaded Fairymax from the repo.... problem solved. As it seems to be a dependency maybe it should be included with the Xboard download.
