gthumb can't show video thumbs or play videos

Hello Salix OS people,

just installed gthumb and its not showing vids. I checked the dependencies with depcheck, upgraded a few of them. I have ffmpgeg and ffmpegthumnails and in gthumb I got video plugin checked and "determine thumbnails from content" checked, still nothing.

How did you install gthumb?

Hi, the first time round I downloaded from the salix repo and installed with dpkg -i
Later I reinstalled with Gslapt.

Remove it and install with gslapt again.

Ok, I've done that and same problem exists. Gslapt installed the same version.

Playing videos is now solved: I didn't have the gst-plugins (good, bad, ugly)
Video thumbnails still without.

In Salix-14-RC2 I had to install libbonoboui with gslapt and gthumb then shows pictures and runs videos.

BTW I could not find gthumb in gslapt in Salix-14

I also wanted gthumb but Salix 14RC seems to not have it yet in the repository. Luckily I managed to prepare it myself.
Here you will find it and one of its dependencies (also clutter should be installed from salix repository). Slackbuilds are also included so anybody can compile oneself.

Thanks Witek. This gthumb version is working fine in Salix-14RC2 after installing clutter first.
