Midori & Hotmail

Hi friends,

Sorry, other problem:

Midori cannot log into Hotmail/Outlook.

I was looking for the problem and it seems to be a bug.

I will install Firefox...

Salix lxde 13.37 64 bits.

If this really is a Midori/Webkit bug it should be reported upstream.

Most probably it's a hotmail bug though. They are known to block or cause problems with browsers other than internet explorer, on purpose.

Does Midori easily support spoofing user-agent strings, to allowing tracing this problem, and perhaps providing a work-around?

You can set this in Midori's Preferences > Network - Identify as

Didn't work for me either way, in Midori (identify = default setting or Exploder). Probably the way the Hotmail/Live/Outlook site is set up - not surprised.

Firefox 17.0.1 did load.
