hinting doesn't work properly in vimprobable for forms

Post by mimosa »

I posted about this a while back:

http://www.salixos.org/forum/viewtopic. ... ble#p27036

This page is an example: when I press f for hinting, a dot and space appear in the bar at the bottom of the screen. No problem with links to another page, but if I select the hint for a typing box, first I have to do ESC to get rid of the dot, and then also Ctrl-Z for pass through (which wasn't necessary in 13.37).

Also, on the forum, that works for this big field, but not small ones like the subject line or search. Then, I have to click in the space too.

This is the package for the browser:

Code: Select all

/var/log/packages/vimprobable2-1.0.3-x86_64-2gv

It's not a problem, but it is indeed a (slight) change in behaviour compared to the vimprobable2 version in 13.37.

Instead of doing the ESC/Ctrl-z thing, just press ENTER once more.

Yes and the dot stays there. I dare say this is documented somewhere by vimprobable itself. Thank you for clearing it up.
