VGA Not detected on boot

Hi Guy's,

When I boot Salix , the boot process holds saying they can not detect my VGA. I can manually select or skip to continue boot using the space. Does any one have any idea how I could get the os to log errors during boot to find whats causing this ?

Do you actually have video and X?

Try

Code: Select all

#dmesg | grep -i VGA

and I think there are some other logs. The Slackbook probably explains in indigestible detail.
